With the opening of my bigger art therapy practice in October 2019, I now offer group sessions focusing on various areas, interests and needs. Held on a weekly schedule, these groups range from 3 to 6 participants. Due to the small group size I will have more time to be a fellow traveller, an assistant, a creative guide, and just be there in a more focused way for the individual and the group as a whole throughout the creative journey that takes place. There are various art sessions offered in a week which enable you to choose which one you feel more drawn to or which one you feel could benefit you the most.

Payment is done in advance to secure your booking and manage group participation, it will also free up the session from admin work and open up the space for creativity only.

There are two groups of each 'focus' area or group type - group sessions for adults are offered late-mornings, group sessions for pre-teens and adolescents are offered in the afternoon.

Should you be interested in joining and participating, please get in touch through the 'contact me' page.

Here are brief descriptions of the various groups on offer and their times.

Open Art Studio (OAS)

Art-making is done free and non-directive way. The art space will be opened to those who feel like creating art in a non-directive way. The healing aspects of art-making arise from the making and doing, the trying and failing, the experimenting and succeeding, alongside others, in a group, in a safe and non-judgemental environment. Art making functions as a tool for becoming mindful, self-aware, focusing on the enjoyable and pleasurable part of art making, listening to one's intuition, being creatively engaged, and increasing one’s overall sense of well-being through creative expression.
